コーヒーヤーンは、厳選された「コーヒー」と「マイカ」の2成分に各種特殊化学素材を加え、ポリエステル、ナイロン、ビスコースなどをキャリアとして特殊な工程で繊維に紡績します。

複合構造とは、コーヒーかすが繊維とフィラメントに混合されることを意味します。コーヒー繊維とフィラメントは、臭気制御と吸湿性を提供します。
雲母は層状構造をしており、無色透明です。マイカの融点は1300℃なので、550℃の高温でも物性は全く変化しません。マイカの熱伝導率W/m℃はI.4（20℃）と通常のポリエステル（0.3）の5倍近くあり、冷却・伝熱性に優れた最適な熱伝導素材です。

ナノマイカの表面は帯電しており、水和性が非常に高く、吸水効果に優れているため、吸水効果を促進し、冷却効果を促進することができます。

After combining coffee and mica, using a base of polyester, nylon or viscose, the resulting fibre is a multifunctional material.
